- Video is one way to bring "experts" into your classroom

- Multiple videos on the same content offers students choice
- Videos can give students background knowledge for what follows in class (ie. discussions, labs, projects, etc.)
- Creates more in class time for teacher to work with individuals or small groups
- There needs to be more to the learning than students only watching videos - What will be done after viewing videos?
- Every student may watch the same video, but they may not watch it at the same speed, at the same time, in the same place, or the same number of times

So, you want to work on Flipping Instruction...Now What?
Here are a few questions you will need to answer for your situation:
- What equipment will you need to create videos?
- Where can you find videos that are already created?
- Do any of your textbook publishers include videos?
- Is there anyone that can collaborate with you to create videos?
- Instead of creating 10 videos yourself, if you can create 5 and find someone else that can create 5 time will be saved for other things.
- Where will you host videos that you create?
- Where will you begin? (Start small and manageable.)

Complete any or all of these challenges to get started or continue your journey with Flipped Instruction:
- Answer the "Now What?" questions above.
- Create a quick video on your phone, post it somewhere, and share it with a friend. (Don't be afraid to put yourself out there!)
- Identify a lesson that you would like to flip. Plan the talking points and visual aids to include in your video. Create the video. (Yes, now!)
- Choose a unit of study that your students struggle with. Identify some parts of that unit where students could use some extra help. Create Flipped videos for those parts.
